Metronome App Privacy

Overview

Metronome is a music practice tool. We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All information you create within the app stays on your device.

Data We Collect

 

We collect no data. The app does not:

 

- collect personal information

- transmit data over the internet

- use analytics or crash-reporting services

- use advertising networks or tracking identifiers

- access your contacts, location, microphone, camera, or photos

 

Data Stored on Your Device

 

The app stores the following locally using your device's private storage:

 

- **Presets and playlists** — metronome configurations you create

- **Practice sessions** — your journal entries (date, BPM, duration, notes)

- **App settings** — preferences such as theme

 

This data is stored in a local SQLite database and is never transmitted outside your device. It may be included in your device's standard backup (iCloud, Google Backup) if you have backup enabled.

 

Audio Files

 

If you add external audio or MIDI files to the app, those files are accessed locally on your device. No audio data is uploaded or transmitted.

 

Third-Party Services

The app uses no third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising platforms, or cloud services.

 

Children's Privacy

 

The app does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

 

Changes to This Policy

 

If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will be updated. Continued use of the app after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
